Research Scientist

Galen is a research scientist in the Zia Lab focusing on using dynamic simulations to study colloidal physics in various areas. Specific topics include designing mesoscale simulations to study the role of colloidal physics for understanding biological behaviors of cells, and using LAMMPS to examine the equilibrium/non-equilibrium colloidal phase transition such as crystallization and glass transition. In his spare time, Galen enjoys all kinds of sports and games, especially basketball and swimming.
